Pet Assessment

A pet assessment is an important part of our grooming routine. We do it before we begin washing your dog or cat. When we do this step, we will go over your pet's body. We check teeth, ears, eyes, skin, coat, and nails. We know that it is easy to miss important details, so we make sure your dog is in good shape before we begin the grooming process. If we find any bumps, sores, or other concerning physical conditions, we will communicate those to you. As part of assessment procedure, one of the most important jobs our professionals have  is to check for wounds or sores, ear infections, fleas, and mites. Our groomers can also detect any mouth gum issues which can lead to serious underlying health problems. At Zoomie's Mobile Grooming, we take your fur baby’s health very seriously.
